Support industrial design students with internship
The Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon has been a key factor for the development of industry in the state.
This is demonstrated, once again, with the signing of an agreement between the then President Jose Antonio Gonzalez Treviño and Engineer Francisco Gomez Decrescenzo, then Director General of Jumbocel, a Detcel Group company which has three divisions: tape, medical and flexible containers.
It would be through the Faculty of Architecture, then headed Raul Cepeda Badillo, that this agreement began operating with about 250 students in sixth through tenth semester were available to participate through social service and professional practices.

The then General Director of Jumbocel said the alliance was formalized with the UANL, uniting and pushing efforts and talent, “complementing and mutually benefiting, I’m sure this will be a good and enriching experience for all students who may live near the businesses and challenges the country faces being participants of the solutions to these challenges. ”
As the architect Raul Cepeda Badillo said that the Faculty was headed until then collaborating with industry in Nuevo Leon with some important aspects of the state, “our school participates in research of technical-construction processes of many of the goods that We use; we also have a large participation in innovation of new products in areas that belongs to us. ”
He added that the Center for Research in Industrial Design had already relevant rolls, which were allowed to remain and be in the trust industry in Nuevo Leon, “our school has the opportunity to grow and develop, but this is not feasible without the presence of the industry. ”
To conclude the ceremony, then UANL added that social service and professional practices that youth realized in the industrial sector were a guarantee of success, “because many of these young people are working in the company and it makes clear that our linkage program is excellent. ”
